Are you Birregurra's next ground breaking video storyteller?

This is a shout out to all 15-30 yr olds who want to learn the art of video storytelling

Come along to the information session on Tuesday 20th September at 5pm, with internationally renowned digital multi-media artist Craig Walsh, to find out how you can learn to be a video storyteller as part of Birregurra's enLIGHTen Me Small Town Transformation project.

What's it all about?

Birregurra's enLIGHTen Me Small Town Transformation is kicking off by offering free training and project experience in video storytelling. We want YOU to be the eyes and ears of Birregurra Hall's transformation and get involved in some really exciting projects that we're lining up.

Throughout the project, you'll learn from a range of professionals involved in the project, including lead artist, Craig Walsh.

You'll learn how to pick the perfect subject, how to come up with a great 'hook' and story-line, how to capture your story on video, and how to edit into the final product. And we'll also be able to help you publish your work online...and maybe even get noticed.

This is your chance to learn some awesome skills and be involved in some creative projects as well as have the chance to work on your own ideas.

Do I need to be creative or have experience?

Everyone is creative in one way or another - that's what this project is all about.

No experience is necessary and we'll provide you with most of the equipment needed. You just need to be enthusiastic and willing to learn and come along for the ride.

We also welcome and encourage young people with previous film and digital experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to add to your portfolio of work and to work with an outstanding artist on a high profile arts project.

How much will it cost?

Nothing. It is part of the Birregurra enLIGHTen Me Small Town Transformation project which is a Victorian Government initiative, managed by Regional Arts Victoria.

How do I get involved?

Register your interest and come along to an information session on Tuesday 20th September at 5.00pm at Birregurra Hall. If you can't make it along, let us know and we will find a way to get you involved.
