Meet the working group who put the successful Small Town Transformation submission together

It started with a few phone calls but within 2 or 3 days, a diversely represented working group was pulled together to reach out the Birregurra's community and put together the EOI - not an easy task given the time of year was over Christmas.

Within weeks, the group had reached out the community for ideas and got a grasp on what was required. With the help of some very clever local artists, including Angie Smales and Ron Eichler, the final project concept "enLIGHTen me: I have a Hall in my Heart" was born.

It was thanks to the tireless and creative efforts of this group that got the application through the EOI stage and across the final application line.
